Gabe Newell ported Doom for Windows 95. Windows NT's development was led by David Neil Cutler Sr (Dave Culter) from DEC VMS. Dave Culter joined Xbox Team since this division is responsible for client-side Windows and Xbox. Bill Gates employed Gabe Newell. Commodore-Amiga Workbench 1.0 has a preemptive multitasking OS with a colored GUI before Apple's. Valve's game-centric SteamOS has Proton that cloned Windows/DirectX APIs.

  3. Seymour Cray's CDC 6600 from 1964 is often mentioned as the first superscalar design. The 1967 IBM System/360 Model 91 was another superscalar mainframe. The real innovation is in the consumer market with lower-cost mass production.

  4. Apple II has a bottleneck and its Commodore Semiconductor Group (MOS Technology)'s crap 65xx CPU R&D map. Acorn replaced Commodore's 65xx CPU family with the ARM CPU. Commodore Semiconductor Group's 65xx CPU R&D couldn't keep up with Intel 286 and 386 road map.

  7.  @cryptocsguy9282  65816 was developed by WDC. Acorn Communicator's 65816's clock speed is 2 Mhz. PC 80286 was running at higher clock speed with MMU, and running Xenix for business. WDC 65C816 was released in 1985 when 32-bit 80386 was also released. 68000-based Apple Mac, Commodore-Amiga 1000, and Atari ST were also released. 65C816 is too late.

  8. CPU instruction set alone doesn't guarantee a unified hardware platform when the ARM market is fragmented by different HAL/Firmware ecosystems e.g. the so-called Raspberry Pi clones are not GPIO compatible with the real Pi.

  10. John Ishmael Nimitz class aircraft carrier is useless without it's weapon system (e.g. F-18C and F-18E) and it's pointless since Island of Taiwan is a natural aircraft carrier. USMC could sell it's Harriers 2 to Taiwan (or any US allies with LHD carriers), hence Taiwan would have extra air power resilience after China's first strike moves.
