  3. John Ishmael Nimitz class aircraft carrier is useless without it's weapon system (e.g. F-18C and F-18E) and it's pointless since Island of Taiwan is a natural aircraft carrier. USMC could sell it's Harriers 2 to Taiwan (or any US allies with LHD carriers), hence Taiwan would have extra air power resilience after China's first strike moves.
