@trifulquita15 NATO is not a country.

@parts1982 That's a false equivalence. Unlike Russia, the US did NOT assimilate IRAQ, LIBYA, and SYRIA into US federal structure. On 24 April 2013, the district court of The Hague sentenced Dutch businessman Frans van Anraat to payment of damages to the victims of mustard-gas attacks in Iraq and Iran in the 1980s.

@cesar163005 Straight wings ... it's not stealth. You failed stealth basics 101 LOL.

@chrisbo5288 Before Euromaidan, Russia started a trade war against Ukraine, forcing Yanukovych to sign a base rental extension agreement that breached Ukraine Constitution 1996, Article 17 disallows foreign military bases after 2017. Read the Ukraine Constitution 1996, Article 17 which disallows foreign military bases after 2017. CONSTITUTION OF UKRAINE Adopted at the Fifth Session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 28 June 1996 Article 17 The location of foreign military bases shall not be permitted on the territory of Ukraine. Yanukovych breached the Ukraine Constitution 1996, Article 17. After 2017, Ukraine's constitution is incompatible with foreign military bases hosting either NATO or CSTO. If Yanukovych didn't sign the military base rental extension, Russia would be kicked out of Crimea. Putin's narrative is FALSE. Putin's pressure caused Yanukovych to make a mistake.
2
@chrisbo5288 Fact: The US hasn't moved B61 nuclear bomb's location from 1991's Turkey-Italy-West Germany-Netherlands line.
2
@chrisbo5288 Before Euromaidan, the issue is between the European Union vs Russia's Eurasian Union.
2
@chrisbo5288 >The Russian Federation has security interests to keep the United States from their direct border The US and Russia already share a direct border via the Bering Strait. LOL

False. Before Euromaidan, Russia started a trade war against Ukraine, that forced Yanukovych to sign a base rental extension agreement and which breached Ukraine Constitution 1996, Article 17 which disallows foreign military bases after 2017. CONSTITUTION OF UKRAINE Adopted at the Fifth Session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 28 June 1996 Article 17 The location of foreign military bases shall not be permitted on the territory of Ukraine. Tanks need combined arms support.

@cte4dota Regardless of the economic system, the Grand Duchy of Moscow is a usurper.

Blame Bill Clinton and co. for allowing China into WTO.
1
@chrisbo5288 > Ukraine must stay at least neutral and is forbidden to join the NATO as it was promised years ago NATO didn't make this promise since it's not a country. The "Treaty on the Final Settlement with Respect to Germany" for Germany. There is NO NATO base in former East Germany.

Flankers don't have F-35/F-18's canted vertical twin-tail design for improved yaw control during very high angles of attack.

Putin has an expansion nationist ideology. Look in the mirror.

Soviets supplied anti-aircraft missiles, MiG 17 and MiG 21 to North Vietnam. Soviets supplied MiG 15s to North Korea. In 2009, Venezuela buys S300 missiles with a Russian loan. In 2018, Venezuela buys SU-30 fighter jets from Russia. The Cold War is back.
1
@0x777 You're a naive fool.
1
@0x777 Thailand does NOT buy jets from Britain. Your statement is BS.
1
@0x777 Thai's Harriers are from Spain. AV-8S Matador V/STOL was a first-generation export version of the Hawker Siddeley Harrier, acquired secondhand from the Spanish Navy in 1997. AV-8S Matadors were retired 2006. Your argument is flawed since the UK doesn't design Harrier's replacement i.e. F-35B.
1
@0x777 UK's geopolitics are hardly a threat to Thai's neighbors.
1
@thecoin5394 They are useless against combined arms of drones, RCS decoys, HARMs, and F-35s.

This situation shows when a country doesn't have long-range counter-strike missiles. Budapest memorandum is a failure.
1
@timur43378 Budapest Memorandum doesn't have a neutrality clause. LOL
1
@timur43378 For Ukraine's Budapest Memorandum context, Russia, the US, and the UK confirmed their Ukraine becoming parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and effectively abandoning their nuclear arsenal to Russia and that they would: 1. Respect Ukrainian independence and sovereignty in the existing borders. 2. Refrain from the threat or the use of force against Ukraine. 3. Refrain from using economic pressure on Ukraine to influence their politics. 4. Seek immediate Security Council action to provide assistance to Ukraine if they "should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used". 5. Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against Ukraine. 6. Consult with one another if questions arise regarding those commitments. China and France gave somewhat weaker individual assurances in separate documents. Russia has exited Budapest Memorandum. The US and UK are fulfilling points 4 and 6 in accordance with Ukraine's Budapest Memorandum. Budapest Memorandum's security assurances are weaker than NATO's Article V and EU's Article 42.7.

You missed the small detail with Ukraine's Constitution 1996, Article 17 that disallows foreign military bases after 2017. @timur43378 Remember, Russia's NATO membership process was frozen.

France is good at showing the white flag.
1
@parts1982 From Transnistria War, Putin's 2022 tactics against Ukraine weren't original since Boris Yeltsin has employed them in 1992. This is before NATO's involvement in Yugoslavia in 1999.
1
@parts1982 >LIBYA NATO STOPPED the bloody civil war in Libya. Putin STARTED the bloody war in Ukraine. On 16 August 2003, Libya formally admitted responsibility for Pan Am Flight 103 (Lockabie bombing) in a letter presented to the president of the United Nations Security Council. "On 10 March 2011, France was the first country in the world to recognise the National Transitional Council as the legitimate government of Libya". For the 1st phase, the NATO command structure wasn't used due to the Turkish veto.
