  13. ​ @MrMichealHouse  My point with the "summoning your starship" mod shows both the player on the ground and the player's in-flight starship can co-exist and the game engine handles it just fine. While in orbit, Starfield's ship sensors don't have the accuracy of a hand or gun sights scanner, hence a handheld sensor when establishing the player's outpost. For combined arms doctrine, there is no military-grade sensor fusion between the handheld and ship sensors. The game logic wasn't designed with the US military's combining arms doctrine advisor.

ADA's large L2 cache is useful for framebuffers, but it's nearly useless for non-re-useable texture streaming. Starfield's detailed texture asset design exploited RX 7900 XT/XTX's real video memory bandwidth advantages. I have both factory overclocked TUF RTX 4090 (384-bit bus) and Gigabyte RTX 4080 Gaming OC (256-bit bus). ReBar-enabled RTX 4090 has increased its performance superiority over RX 7900 XTX. The loser is the RTX 4070 (192-bit bus) series cards.
