  3. I wonder how they knew the jets were F-35s. RADAR can’t tell you that. What can tell you that is the information from the aircraft data transponder, something that the fighters would be transmitting while they flew through civilian airspace. That way other aircraft and air traffic controllers can see and avoid them.

Lockheed's early stealth fighter designs have angular shaping design while Northrop Grumman has their curvy stealth design. Northrop Grumman's curvy stealth design is original and it's different from Lockheed's early stealth design pattern.
