The U.S election process is garbage when compared to Australia's voting integrity process. From en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_Index For Democracy Index, U.S. has been classified as Flawed Democracies. Australia's "Full Democracy" score is superior when compared to the U.S.A. Australia doesn't allow unsolicited mail-out ballots. Australia doesn't allow voting without proper registration with valid ID.

@Neil-yg5gm 1. Workchoices wasn't needed since it was introduced late 27th of March 2006. WorkChoices was a prominent issue in the defeat of the center-right Howard Liberal government at the 2007 federal election. 2. The rich Bennelong electorate voted out Howard since Workchoices went too far. Workchoices was an unforced error on Howard's part. Australia is NOT U.S.A.

Read aec.gov.au/enrol/ Eligibility basics you are an Australian citizen, or eligible British subject, aged 18 years and over, and have lived at your address for at least one month. You will need your driver's licence, or Australian passport number, or have someone who is enrolled confirm your identity. 2. Before receiving the ballot paper, the voter is required to mark off their name with a matching home address from the register's list.
