  2. Not factoring in China, Australia has trade surpluses with South Korea, Japan, and the UK. Australia should focus on the CPTPP zone. Australia has a trade deficit with the US and a large trade deficit with the protectionist EU. EU is not a real friend when the EU applies higher tariffs on Australian goods.
