  4.  @ДмитрийВронский-в3с  The context, the European Union has launched a legal challenge at the World Trade Organisation against Russian measures it says restrict or prevent EU companies from selling goods to Russian state-owned enterprises. $40-50 billion dollars per year is small relative to the EU's GDP. Russia should have increased tariffs or increased "local content" requirements instead of simply blocking trade goods e.g. USMCA's or EU custom union's methods. WTO rules allow the "national security" clause i.e. a favorite tactic of China's or the US's.
