EU funded a new gas pipeline from Norway to Poland via Denmark i.e. Baltic Pipe Project. The Baltic Pipe Project will allow the transport of gas from Norway to the Danish and Polish markets, as well as to end-users in neighboring countries. Blame Denmark's green policies for delaying this pipeline. A new gas pipeline from Poland to Baltic countries i.e. Gas Interconnection Poland–Lithuania (GIPL). The link can transport about 2 billion cubic metres per annum of gas from Poland to Lithuania and onwards to Latvia and Estonia. Spain is not dependent on Russian gas since the majority of its gas supplies are from Algeria and Morocco via the Maghreb-Europe gas pipeline (MGE). The UK is not dependent on Russian natural gas, making up less than 4% of the supply. EU funded Croatia's new LNG terminals for Australian and Qatari LNG shipments. Croatia's new LNG terminals are located near Bulgaria and Romania. Croatia's new LNG terminals enable better access for LNG shipments from countries like Qatari and Australian LNG for EU's southeast members. Poland and Bulgaria were planning for the expiration of supply contracts with Gazprom by the end of 2022. ----- The old Axis, Italy's, Germany's and Austria's preparation is poor.

@avdhutpawar1545 False. Qatar LNG is still shipping to the EU.

@avdhutpawar1545 From MAY 14 2022 via Financial Times UK wholesale gas prices have tumbled amid an unprecedented surplus of liquefied natural gas, raising the prospect of lower energy bills in the autumn. High LNG import volumes from the US, Qatar and Algeria that the UK pipeline system cannot move to mainland Europe quickly enough, as well as a decline in demand caused by a warm spring and an increase in wind power, have left the UK with a glut that is driving down prices.

@delimafaigl2682 The Baltic pipeline (Norway-Denmark-Poland) is connected to Europipe II. Europipe II is connected to Germany's Dornum. Europipe I is connected to Germany's Dornum. Norpipe is connected to Germany's Emden.

@slabbygabby FYI, LNG CNG and NG infrastructure can be recycled for hydrogen.

@avdhutpawar1545 From the 2nd of Feb 2022, the British government's fossil fuel industry regulator has approved a new oil and gas project in the North Sea. From the UK government, The UK is not dependent on Russian natural gas, making up less than 4% of our supply. Ministers are also exploring options to reduce this further. The Prime Minister confirmed that the government will set out an energy strategy to set out the UK’s long term plans for greater energy security, including both renewable and domestic oil and gas supplies.

@avdhutpawar1545 >what will West do If Russia decides to form alliance of sanctioned nations like Burma, Iran, Argentina, Libiya, Syria etc Hint: Cold War.

@avdhutpawar1545 >What will West do if Russia decides to make these nation very strong by giving advance weapons and Nuclear bomb technology along with some Nuclear bombs from its arsenal and Ballistic missiles Your argument is obsolete when Russia and China have aided NK's nuclear weapons program. What will Russia or China do if Trump's argument to arm US allies with nuclear weapons is executed? Hint: Nuclear-armed Taiwan, South Korea, Japan? The US already exported Trident II ICBM IP to the UK and the AUKUS deal allows for highly enriched fissile materials for Australia's nuclear-powered submarines.

@valentintapata2268 Croatia's liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal on the island of Krk has 2.9 billion cubic metres per year. Croatian prime minister Andrej Plenkovic announced plans to increase by 12% the regasification capacity of the LNG terminal in line with Europe's goal to reduce its energy dependence on Russia. For Romania, Black Sea Oil and Gas, said last month that will start extracting gas from its own Romanian offshore project in the second quarter of 2022.

From euractiv, 12th of May 2022 Bulgaria will receive supplies of US liquefied natural gas (LNG) at prices lower than Gazprom’s starting in June, according to a deal struck between Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and US Vice President Kamala Harris, the government’s press service said on Wednesday. “The price of gas through pipelines, when delivered at a distance of more than 4,000 kilometres, certainly becomes high enough and may be higher than that of liquefied natural gas,” the Bulgarian deputy minister explained.

The US goverment is less dependent on natural gas revenues when compared to the Russian government.

@valentintapata2268 From euractiv, 21 Dec 2021 Bulgaria-Greece gas interconnector a ‘matter of months’ It is a matter of months until the gas connection between Greece and Bulgaria is completed announced the prime ministers’ of the two countries Kiril Petkov and Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who held a meeting in the Council of Ministers on Monday At the end of last week, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev expressed readiness for his country to export larger quantities of gas to Bulgaria than the 1 billion cubic metres per year of the current contract --- The interconnector between Athens and Sofia is slated to go into operation at the end of 2022 and Bulgaria is also looking to get involved in the construction of a separate project in synergy with the Interconnector, the LNG terminal in Alexandropoulos, Greece.
