The purpose is for NATO interoperability training, logistics, administrative, and liaison office for German troops deployed in the US. There are 1000 German troops in the US. Other NATO members have deployed troops on other mainland US bases e.g. Dutch pilots are located on Morris Air National Guard base in Arizona, now utilize Luke Air Force Base. UK's RAF pilots are located at Edwards Air Force Base in California. British forces also located California's Camp Roberts and Fort Hunter Liggett. Singaporean airmen are stationed at Idaho's Mountain Home Air Force Base. NATO Article V is less effective without interoperability training. If Russia attacks Germany, there's a high chance that US troops will be injured or killed and it's Lusitania trigger. Both sides have their trip wire if other foreign powers attack a NATO member.

  2. In a war of attrition against a fully mobilized Russia, the EU would need access to raw resource-rich USA, Canada, and Australia. During WW1, the British Empire's main resource strength comes from Canada, Australia, and India. Germanic-majority countries shouldn't have stupid "brother wars". It is wise to factor in the economic conditions across NATO members so that none of us will fail.
