@blingbling574 FA-50 (mini-F-16) and T-7 (mini-F-18) also has GE-404 engines.

Sweden is part of the EU which includes the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP). Ireland is part of the EU.

@garrywynne1218 Ireland's population size is similar to New Zealand's or Singapore's.

@garrywynne1218 UK is maintaining a larger airforce and navy size when compared to Singapore's.

CAC became a fully owned subsidiary of Hawker de Havilland in 1985 and was renamed Hawker de Havilland Victoria Limited in 1986. This company was purchased by Boeing Australia in 2000, hence the Loyal Wingman.

LAVI is missing F-16's blended wing body design for an extra body lift.

FA-50 was designed to replace F-5E. F-20 is just a 3rd gen F-5 airframe with 4th gen avionics and a single F404-GE-100 engine. Hornet is the real successor to the F-5. F-20 lacks the 4th gen body lift designs, hence it's inferior to FA-50 which also has a single F404-GE-xxx engine.
2
@Joshua_N-A Hornet has further two derivatives with F/A-18E Super Hornet and T-7 Red Hawk.

F-21 is the Indian version of the F-16V Block 70/72.

RAAF has F-111C, not F-111A

@williamchick6649 13 F-111C units were preserved in aviation museums and RAAF airbases. 23 F-111C units were buried. Buried F-111C units were stripped bare and partly dismantled. The fuselage has asbestos. 23 F-111C units were used as spare parts for the remaining F-111C units. RAAF has preserved the remaining and intact F-111Cs. The 13 intact F-111C units are still owned by the Department of Defence.

@williamchick6649 I don't own them i.e. Australia's Department of Defence still owns F-111C units.

From f-16.net/forum/download/file.php?id=24377&t=1&sid=c24cd6246f84f0e738290c831371dcda Sustain turn rate at 15,000 feet, gun ammo, and 2 IR missiles F-16A murders F-20

Successor to F-5 was YF-17 which evolved into F/A-18A. Boeing T-7 Red Hawk follows YF-17 design aka mini-F/A-18.

@sean_d FYI, Singapore's 72,000 regulars include full-time National Servicemen NSFs i.e. conscription.

Nope, on visual range dogfight according to Norway, F-35A Block 3F is between F/A-18 Hornet (high angle of attack, nose pointing) and F-16A (near transonic sustain turn rate).

@Hi11is https://www.reddit.com/r/F35Lightning/comments/8a66ta/out_of_the_shadows_rnlaf_experiences_with_the/ Out Of The Shadows: RNLAF experiences with the F-35A - Combat Aircraft Magazine May 2018 1. Dutch F-35 Block 3F, "F-35 sits somewhere in between the F-16 and F/A-18 when it comes to within visual range manoeuvring'". 2. Lightest empty weight F-16A MLU air-superiority model needs to be clean (no weapons, no external tanks) to make visual range dogfight interesting against combat loaded F-35A Block 3F. 3. Dutch has acknowledged early F-35 Block builds being beaten by F-16s with external fuel tanks which are NOT applicable for F-35A Block 3F build. Don't use Block 2A/2B/3i numbers!

@Hi11is Basic wing loading without body and vortex lift. F-35A Empty weight: 29,300 lb Wing area: 460 ft² Wing loading: 63.04 lbs/ sq feet. F-16C Block 52 Wing area: 300 ft² Empty weight: 18,900 lb Wing loading: 63 lbs/ sq feet. F-35A's empty weight is 1.54X scaled from F-16C. F-35A's wing area is 1.53X scaled from F-16C. F-35A's 43,000 lbf thrust is 1.50X scaled from F-16C's 28,600 lbf. F-35A's 45,000 lbf thrust upgrade road map is 1.57X scaled from F-16C's 28,600 lbf. F-35A needs at least 44,330 lbs thrust to preserve the 1.55X scale factor. There's a near straight 1.5X scaling between F16C to F-35A on basic wing loading, engine thrust, and empty weight. F-35A's wing area is influenced by weight growth and F-16C's empty weight wing loading target. F-35A is NOT designed to be the F-15C replacement!
1
@Hi11is In terms of wing loading and the thrust-to-weight ratio at empty weight, F-22A is designed to replace F-15C.
