  1. Gary Doss The supersonic airframe requirements are similar for both drones and manned. In terms of cost, the cockpit section is minor relative to the rest of the aircraft. F-35 already has remote control features and this is the sticking point for Turkey i.e. they want control over this feature.

  4. AirShark95 QF-16's 9 G loading and AoA (~26 degrees) capabilities wasn't changed from F-16. F-35 has software limited 50 degrees AoA with test reached ~73 degrees AoA. F-35A haven't reached Block 3F for it's 9 G certifications. My "minus the G force" statement is for the human body. In the end, a drone supersonic dogfighter will need F-35's sensors and computers. If you want high AoA, it's still F-35.

  12. UK's foreign policy has been friendly with Saudis since WW1. After WW2, US inherited UK's foreign policy e.g. anti-Russia and friendly with the Saudis. Recent US administration changes lead to US first which practically dumped UK's foreign policy settings. US and Russia was allies in 1800s.
