@ImSafeonSite Wrong, In a similar time period, Australia licensed and built Mirage III with US weapon systems instead of Canada purchased shitty CF-104. Don't blame the US for Canada's crappy decisions. Note that Australia has designed and built an F-35 size stealth fighter as Loyal Wingman (with help of Boeing and BAE) i.e. the unmanned F-35 like fighter drone.

@raynus1160 MiG 21 was a cheap fighter while Arrow is an expensive large fighter i.e. it's many T-34 or Sherman Firefly tanks verse few Tiger II tanks.

@saltycade9063 For RAAF, F-5 can beat Mirage III, hence why Australia purchase F/A-18 Hornet which is the successor to the F-5. Australia manufactured its licensed Mirage IIIs.
