  1. But instead of simply being dismissive, focus on the thing Republicans don't have an answer for and never could. Namely that if Trump is innocent WHY HASN'T HE RELEASED THE CALL AUDIO TO CONGRESS? Innocent Trump would have released it weeks ago and made this all go away. The only reason he would have to not release the call audio is that he is guilty as sin and that call audio will put the matter beyond further doubt. What that also means is that Democrats don't directly need to establish Trump's guilt, only to get a court order to force the release of the call audio. The call audio will certainly establish Trump's guilt. But at a common sense level, Trump's guilt is already a certainty because otherwise he would have released the call audio. End of story.

  2. We should have an exchange program with North Korea where 100 Republicans are exchanged for 100 North Koreans every quarter. North Korea can save money on propaganda since Republicans don't need much convincing of any fatuous nonsense and North Korean free thinking citizens which is problematic there can find a home where they are encouraged to think for themselves

  4. Phony? The Senate Republicans admitted that Trump did everything he was accused of doing but acquitted him anyway. Trump's guilt was manifest the moment he didn't release the call audio as soon as the thing began, ludicrously claiming that it had been "accidentally" classidied and while the trial was going on, Trump committed another impeachable act of lying about Suleimaani being an imminent threat, a claim the WH itself took back. That irresponsible act could still lead to a war with Iran in the not so distant future as Iran turns rogue and starts enriching uranium. It's Trump's job as President with the intel he gets to act in the country's interest. Even if he let things take a normal course, things would be fine. But he had fired the pandemic experts before and he put Pence in charge(so he could take the blame if things went south) and he continued to downplay the virus even into February and early march. He hasn't just kept quiet, he has done active harm.
