Phony? The Senate Republicans admitted that Trump did everything he was accused of doing but acquitted him anyway. Trump's guilt was manifest the moment he didn't release the call audio as soon as the thing began, ludicrously claiming that it had been "accidentally" classidied and while the trial was going on, Trump committed another impeachable act of lying about Suleimaani being an imminent threat, a claim the WH itself took back. That irresponsible act could still lead to a war with Iran in the not so distant future as Iran turns rogue and starts enriching uranium. It's Trump's job as President with the intel he gets to act in the country's interest. Even if he let things take a normal course, things would be fine. But he had fired the pandemic experts before and he put Pence in charge(so he could take the blame if things went south) and he continued to downplay the virus even into February and early march. He hasn't just kept quiet, he has done active harm.
