AlHoresmi No no no. The points are something like this: First of all, there are two kinds of work a) Projects that take your life forward and b) maintenance work Point 1: (about projects) Identify the main project(s) that will actually take your life forward and ought to be your main priority and devote time to streamlining that/those rather than having your hand in in a lot of pies most of which aren't really worth the time and simply dissipate time and energy and you end up just poking and prodding around without making real progress Point 2: (about maintenance) Develop a system where you do this worth with a minimum of fuss, stress, labor, and time so that you never get stressed or exhausted from this routine work. Since this work mostly never changes, you can plan and anticipate this stuff way better than the project stuff. Use this to your advantage to ensure this part takes as little out of you as possible. Point 3: Identify your principal bottlenecks and devote more resources to those (rather than just as much as to the easier problems) and try to solve them patiently and with less stress than when you first discovered them to be bottlenecks. Because once these are solved, everything else is likely to happen quickly and spontaneously. Only the big problems need a careful conscious effort with a dedicated time and energy slot mapped out and you persevere until you solve them(or advance them to a higher level bottleneck sometimes) Everything else can be fit into a rolling routine of juggling several stuff at once.
