Ted Cruz’s book should be titled “I microwave fish in the Senate lunch room.” 🤣🤣🤣

She is right. It is indeed neofascism.

Trump out of the WH is the greatest Christmas gift to the American people.
90
They were expecting 10,000 Trump supporters to show up in their "We the people Reunion" rally in Kentucky last week -- only 300 showed up. I guess even the most hardcore Trump supporters have realized the only thing Trump was interested in was how much money he can grift from his supporters.
2
Yep. Same phenomenon as Hitler.
2
Scaramucci might be right. Giuliani asked for blanket pardon as well as money assistance from Trump. Trump denied him both times. I can foresee Giuliani spilling the dirt on Trump to federal investigators for some kind of deal. No doubt about this. These villains are only using each other, I can see them betraying each other just to save their own asses.
2
GOP = party of human garbage.
2
Re-districting and gerrymandering is anti-democratic. If the democrats aren’t willing to fight against that then they will lose again in 2022 and the cycle of “do nothing” repeats itself until 2024.
2
This is the end of the GOP. So crazy.

*eat popcorn while the GQP self destructs*

Trump is pathetic… period. 🤣🤣🤣
1
Matt Gaetz is finished.
1
I think that just proves what everyone already knew: Trump and his sycophants like O’Reilly are losers.
1
Trump's strategy on how to stave off political irrelevance --- push more election fraud lies that has been disproven a billion times by both sides of the aisle. Ironically the more Trump does this, the more he drags down the GOP. Sure, Trump still has a few million hardcore followers blind to his lies but a majority of Americans both on the left, center and right has moved on.
1
Trump is finished. Next is investigations on all his crimes. Trump pissed off the wrong people, they are Republicans and Democrats alike and they want Trump’s head on a silver platter. Ironically Trump did tremendous damage to the Republican party. When they were blaming looters (many of those same looters are Trump supporters as well as criminal elements) that attacked shops during the BLM protest, Trump’s supporters themselves attacked, destroyed and looted the offices at the very heart of American democracy.

Allowing ex-president Trump and his co-conspirators to walk away unscathed for trying to undermine the country’s democracy and rule of law would diminish the United States in the eyes of the world. The Chinese would laugh and say “you can’t even hold your own ex-president accountable for trying to destroy democracy and the US government so why should we allow democracy in China”.
1
How can helping the American people in economic distress during a severe pandemic be a “political stunt”? McConnell is cruel and insane.
1
Not surprised at all. Trump has always come off as being lazy and sleazy. I bet he hasn’t done a single day’s worth of honest work in his entire life. What George Orwell wrote is becoming reality. “The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” —George Orwell
1
If only Graham and McConnell grew some balls to stand against Trump or any compassion or decency then people won't hate them.
1
$150 million dollars is what it cost the US taxpayers for 4 years of Trump playing golf while the US taxpayers pick up the bill.
1
I would have to agree with Romney. The GOP is now Trump's party, there's no saving it. It effectively now functions more like an organized cult than a political party. The moderate and centrist GOP might have to form a new party and fully abandon the GOP that's been fully highjacked by the far right. These people doesn't care even if Trump was fully convicted of a crime in the criminal court. In their eyes Trump is forever blameless and innocent no matter what. And I agree with Farron, the best thing for US politics is for the traditional GOP and DNC to split into 4 or more distinct ideological parties. That way political parties would be forced to compromise and work together in a coalition without one party or the other dominating the agenda.
1
It’s always the GOP modus operandi to screw their constituents and then put the blame on liberals.
1
The GQP are all so afraid. Maybe … just maybe..they have actually done something that could lead to them being arrested of a crime. Makes you wonder. 🤔🤔🤔
1
What would be wonderful is the GOP right wing and far right wing destroy each other and render themselves politically impotent. Then the corporate democrats can stop using Trump/GOP as a boogeyman. This would allow progressive policies that are favored by a majority of Americans to finally pass.
1
Yep the GOP voted against it now they are trying to take credit for it. What a bunch of hypocrites.
1
Ironically I heard even Trump himself isn't putting money into his own campaign. Instead he is channeling all of his money into his businesses. I guess he is preparing for life after the presidency.
1
Same phenomenon as what happened in Nazi Germany. Basically in their minds, truth and facts no longer mattered. Whatever bullshit Trump says is the “truth” to them.
1
The GOP are pretty much admitting they no longer wants democracy in the United States. It's perfectly fine for them that an authoritarian autocrat like Trump that disregards the rule of law is in power as long as it works for them.
1
GQP hypocrisy.
1
Republicans using American lives as dispensable pawns in their political games. Vote the GOP out!
1
Biden have almost 4M more votes now than Trump.
1
It is indeed a sad day in America when money and power holds more value in the eyes of the Republicans than human lives.
1
Let’s face it the far right, those who refuses to wear a mask are dying off from self inflicted stupidity. A lot of them are in the 50-60-70 age bracket (ironically the most vulnerable to the coronavirus pandemic). A majority of progressives are young people in their teens-20-30-40s. In fact most young people tend to be liberal and progressives. Trump would be the last hurrah of the far right.
1
I suspect Kushner or Trump might have sold top secret US nuclear secrets to the Saudis and the Saudis are not exactly America's best friend lately (the Saudis could even sell those secrets to the Chinese or the Russians). Trump's actions is creating a huge hole in US national security and his actions might have major negative consequences for the United States years or even decades down the line.
1
Trump and his ilk should be in jail for obstruction of justice.
1
I think a lot of American are starting to realize the GOP doesn't even want democracy anymore. They are going authoritarian.
1
It could be the “president” of the Mickey Mouse club. 🤔
1
Texan Democrats fled the state in order to avoid allowing a wholesale anti-democratic voter suppression law to pass. Cancun Cruz did it to abandon his constituents during a time of massive crisis. Huge difference here.
1
It is an accurate description of CPAC 2021.
1
Basically Trump is celebrating the death of US liberal democracy and the rise of right wing fascist authoritarianism. When the power of the people to affect change thru voting is curtailed to such a degree as not to affect national elections I must conclude we are in banana republic territory.
1
MTG’s version of the GOP is very much like the Nazi party.
