  1. The animosity between generations has manifested itself thru the HK pro-democracy protesters. Most pro-democracy protesters are millennials or composed of the XYZ generation while most of the pro-Beijing supporters are the boomers and the forgotten generation. This is a generational war compounded by the massive income inequality between the boomers and the millennials. It a war between the rich and the poor. This isn’t just in China but happening in the US and elsewhere too.
