  1. Another major reason is water resources security. The source of water to India flows from Tibet from Yarlung Tsangpo with the Brahmaputra River. China wants to build three massive dam in Tibet (3 times larger than even the 3 Gorges Dam) to generate power. This will impede water flowing into India or cause a flash flood if China releases all water at the same time (in effect weaponizing water resources). If China controls the flow of water to India that means India will be under the political thumb of China in the future. This is why India doesn't like the CCP government.

  2.  @minus21334  CCP has been causing drought downstream from the Mekong River threatening water security of Vietnam. War will be fought over water security in the future.
