My dad was in a Finnish concentration camp in Petrozavodsk (Karelia), he was there with my grandmother and aunt. What did they see? They saw several hundred barefoot Soviet soldiers marching very slowly along the central street of the city when it was -20 degrees. This was also seen by many of my school teachers, parents of classmates. There were 5 concentration camps in Karelia in total. In the concentration camp, they were told that the only way they could survive was to be slaves in Great Finland, which would occupy the territory up to the Urals. My dad was able to escape during the attack of the Soviet army, and then after the liberation of Petrozavodsk, he volunteered for the army. It was 1944, and Dad turned 17. then they took volunteers into the army from 17. He returned home safely, he could not listen to the Finnish speech, although he understood. come and see, there is a museum with historical documents and photos. Petrozavodsk is close to Finland.

@chinarello2928 during Stalins rule, it lasted 30 years, in summ, there were less prosoners, than just now (this moment) in the Unated Sates. this is a medical fact. I am not sure about now, but I know that they can work and study(in the universyty), have medical help, and even go to home sometimes (of cause not all of them). I know exactly what were finnish concentration camps and there rassist point. As I wrote you before, it is horroble thing to campare. Why Russian women could not vote. Because Finlandia were developing independantly. The only limit - not to have an army. They attacked us immediatly as they could in 1917 -1920 . I did not cherry picked about women voting, it is just a fact among a lot of others. Finnish people used evrything Russia has even during Soviet Times. Finlandia got forest for extremly cheap price, it was done to keep Finlandia out of NATO. So you lived economically well because od the Sovet help. Not only forest for sure, there were a lot of one way profit exchange.
