SINGLE MOMS: 1) Her kids come first. 2) You're not her kids parent. 3) She doesn't have time for you. 4) She's looking for someone to take her workload off her and pay her bills. 5) EX will likely be around REGULARLY for LEGAL REASONS. 6) You will be her unpaid therapist. 7) You won't be paying JUST FOR HER WANTS/NEEDS, but also those of her kids. 8) You can be held FINANCIALLY LIABLE for taking care of her children if you break up, should the court determine that it is "in the best needs of the children" for your income to provide child support (YES, EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT YOUR KIDS... IT HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES). 9) If she has a jealous EX, you may have to contend with him and his entire family. 10) You will NEVER EVER EVER find peace. EVER.
