In the EU, one is not allowed to have melatonin. This is a simple non prescription sleeping aid throughout most of the world, the EU also bans some other herbal treatments as well.

@suzh5789 Yes, I didn't become aware of it until I had a Zoom call with my functional medical doctor. On the call was a nice lady from Ireland, who shared that she wasn't able to receive Melatonin due to EU guidelines. I have a Hyperthyroid condition, so it is usually more difficult to get to sleep without some assistance.
