  2. Like some of the other comments here, it is hard to duplicate California weather. Most of the countries including Mexico, have much too heat at the beach, Our beautiful weather here in California, it is 78 degrees at the beach. SJS in Nicaragua is hitting 100 and about 95 in Panama, way too hot! The beautiful part of Chile is in the southern region which has the weather of state of Washington which means it's good for about 5 months of the year. The weather in Mexico is very hot unless you are at high elevations, which means one is not at the beach, so not a comparison at all. Likely Portugal is the best choice, but it is a higher tax location.
