Usually on this channel, the term western is not used in a positive manner. Depending on the Latin country, they will have more of an affinity towards some western values. For example, Argentina is more allied in viewing themselves as transplanted Europeans. However, in general gender roles are defined and not fluid. Men have certain attributes and Women have other clearly defined roles. Family values are real and not a social construct, one has a biological family not some family is whatever you think it is idea. Of course, there are countries that are considered " western" but don't fit into some of the negative "woke" mentality of western ideology. For example, Hungary and Romania are two countries that come to mind. I likely would throw in Croatia and much of Greece into this as well. Also, likely Poland and a couple of other smaller countries that I haven't visited.

@patilabhinav7941 I suppose it depends if one is going to live in Italy or is using it to get EU citizenship, so one can live and/or work in the EU. While I have always loved Italy and all it has to offer ( People, food, culture) but its been an economic disaster. Since joining the EU, it has made absolutely ZERO growth in its GNP. They are constantly being bailed out by other more successful countries. Italy actually jails people who don't pay their taxes. I remember years ago Sophia Loren spent time in jail. If one is wealthy they won't do jail time in the US unless it's really egregious or one screws other powerful people like Bernie Madoff. I had a client who made a great deal of money in crypto currency and he owed a very large amount to the government. At present, he is only paying 1% of the amount in a payment plan. This would never happen in other European countries, they would want all the money. Look at the French actor Gerard Depardieu who relinquished his French citizenship after paying over 40 million euros in taxes over the years, he finally had enough. Some people have different levels, I suppose. As Andrew always says, go where you are treated best. Some places are best just to have wonderful vacations but not to live full time
