  2.  @lionelpinkhard  Not to put the fear of God in anyone, but time is not a luxury that many people that want a second residency or citizenship don't have. Many people who were thinking that Eastern Europe was a good option, may be reconsidering their options. Residency programs come and go. Many Canadians and Australians probably feel that they should have left their country several years ago, Trudeau is now talking about eliminating travel, so its really not what is their best option, it may be an only option to leave. Citizenship by descent is a long process depending upon the country, but can be worthwhile since it is relatively low cost. I personally see less people being less oriented on saving taxes versus having a stable country to move to.
