@elainej5473 Not exactly true. That would be true if societies ran on a equitable metric which doesn't happen. If one is in Mexico, the Cartel doesn't exactly share equally with the population in Mexico. They control a large portion of the agricultural and tourist businesses there.

@melaniesmith3954 It is more reported in the US than in Mexico. In Tangerine Travels, the creator spoke about a friend(Mexican) who was at Home Depot in broad daylight with their 7-year old daughter, when 2 armed men came up to her car and tried to kidnap her daughter. She was able to attract attention, so the kidnappers took off. This happened in one of the safer cities in Mexico. Another channel I follow had a video on the 6 most dangerous cities in the world, 4 of these cities were in Mexico.
