  1. the judge should simply instruct the jury to hold no bias based on the accused appearance. but if some of the jury still chooses to hold their prejudices there's nothing you can do. you can instruct but not force non-prejudice no matter how hard you try. if the tattoos are truly no longer a representation of the accused character or beliefs, its up to the defense atty to convince the jury of it. sadly, justice is often a difficult thing to achieve or even to agree upon. maybe someday we'll get it right. the philosophy of equalism is a step in the right direction. thanks for the video.
