  1. its widely accepted among legal experts that, regardless of how innocent you are, the last thing the accused wants is a jury trial. juries are flippant, impulsive, overly emotional and highly unpredictable. at best, the accused has a 50/50 chance of acquittal under ANY circumstance. unless the judge is a total hack or corrupt, they're more likely to base their decisions upon the law and not be unduly influenced by attorney grandstanding or courtroom theater.
