  2. +sheri… yes, well put. they're not against socialist economic policies but fear the word "socialism" because the American elite, on the right and left, have demonized the word. one of the tenets of equalism is - "the elite want us to fear what will free us from them." the elite on the right and left use buzzwords and newspeak to garner automatic, predetermined reactions from us. they pit us against each other so they maintain power.

  3. +Jon... yep, your correct. human rights, a living wage, the right to food, affordable medical care, housing and education has led to slaughter of BILLIONS! I think you're confusing capitalism and fascism with socialism and democracy. the systems you mentioned were not socialist regardless of what they called themselves. its really very simple; socialism is the opposite of oligarchy, elitism, elitist advantage and the elitist-welfare-state. society should work for everyone equally and not subsidize the wealthy or offer welfare to the wealthy while demonizing it for everyone else. in other words - ANY system with an elite isn't socialist.

I live in poverty and Pelosi hasn't done a damned thing for me except keep me poor. oddly enough, just like the conservatives. uummm; i'm beginning to think there's little difference between liberals and conservatives except their rhetoric. besides, even if she was the best person to have ever lived she's been in power TOO long. she needs to step down and hand the baton off to someone else.

  6. the way I see it, if being female did have a positive influence on the voters GREAT! its about time. but I think its obvious it wasn't the overriding factor. unlike Clinton; I believe many supported Clinton's campaign, despite her corruption, just because they wanted a woman president. I want one too, but she must at least meet a minimum standard of ethics. a politicians character IS important. the republican voters completely ignored trump's horrible character and look at what they got.

  7. +Jstewfy… as opposed to all the politicians who's penises helped them get elected? don't worry, if a woman or two slips through the prejudice and manages to get elected to public office in this country there'll still be enough penises in power to out number them twenty to one. personally I believe America politics and corporations could improve IMMENSELY with more vaginas in charge and fewer penises.

  10. +Richard... no, she has it right. see, here's the problem. we all have different definitions for the same thing and the same definitions for different things. even many on the left don't know the meaning of socialism. the reason for the so-called failures in Venezuela is because its been sabotaged by the U. S. elite and they've even gone so far as to fund riots and unrest to help destabilize it even further. this isn't the first time the U. S., or other countries, have corrupted the domestic affairs of foreign countries. germany just recently did it in spain, Italy and Greece. the use of force, coercion and covert operations to replace a democratically elected socialistic govt with a neo-liberal one more to the liking of the world's elite is nothing new. capitalism is a corrupt system that produces poverty, enslaves labor and puts society in perpetual conflict for the benefit of the elite. capitalism, in reality, produces BOTH big govt and big business. socialism, in ALL its forms, regardless of what you call it, is the antithesis of capitalism.

  11. the U.S. isn't a democracy in any way shape or form. oligarchs and technocrats make all the decisions here and, in fact, throughout the world. you and I have no say in the policies that rule us or direct our country. maybe you should watch my videos as suggested twice above. that might clear up some of your confusion about equalism. who knows, you might find you are an equalist too.

I don't agree. the problems of Venezuela are completely caused from foreign meddling. social democracy and democratic socialism are 2 different things. democratic socialism ISN'T socialism-lite. you can't have democracy without socialism. socialism is economic democracy and democracy is political socialism. the intent of both is to equalize society, end poverty and remove elitist rule. you can't have capitalism and socialism coexist within the same system. when you do that you're dooming the socialist aspects to greed, corruption and failure.

  13. you are right in explaining the workings of socialism basically as govt owned or labor coops. but that's where most leftists are wrong. how can system that denounces ownership defend govt ownership? I see it differently. socialism is NOT about big govt owning and controlling everything. that does nothing but reassign the elite from business thugs to govt thugs. what we have now is nothing but a symbiosis of big govt and big business working in tandem to enforce the profits and will of the elite. socialism is about the removal of ANY elitist hierarchy and the obliteration of the very concept of ownership.
