  1. non-political? you're missing the point, my friend. jesus' story is a political story that has significance today. man, jesus was an anti-elitist revolutionary. why do you think they killed him? it wasn't because he was some babbling religious fanatic that's for sure. jesus threatened the status quo ruling class and stood up for the rights of the discarded, the poor and the suffering.
