  1.  @SonOfManic818  ... there's a big difference between the god in the old testament and the god in the new testament. the old testament offers a violent, spiteful, vengeful, warmongering god. but in the new testament jesus described god as loving, forgiving, just and compassionate. jesus was the "prince of peace." all religions are full of contradictions like this. although there are many self-proclaimed "chtistians" today and throughout history who embrace the old testament god over the new testament god. for some reason they reject jesus' teachings of peace, tolerance and forgivness and choose a god of revenge, violence and hate. go figure.
