well, both the left and right misuse the word "entitlement." an entitlement is something you deserve. you've earned. you're ENTITLED to it. but both sides make it seem entitlements are handouts. handouts and entitlements are two different things. and through tax breaks, tax loopholes, tax exemptions and low tax rates, govt subsidies and govt contracts the rich and their corporations are, BY FAR, the biggest recipients of govt handouts IN THE WORLD!

why's he allowed to continue to release such threatening and vile statements? where's the damned gag order? why is the law AGAIN not being enforced against trump? put a gag order on trump. when he breaks it you haul the bastard into jail and keep him there until a jury can decide if his guilty or not. then you prosecute him for violating the gag order. since when did enforcing the law become so difficult for these people?
32
its called privilege. rich people can do what they please. the laws and the judicial systyem are set up to perpetuate this privilege. if any of us "regular joes" were to commit JUST ONE crime trump committed over the last 50 years we would've been in prison a long time ago. what's the point of being rich if you can't do whatever the hell you want?

anyone know anything about landlord/tenant law? during an eviction the tenant has 5 DAYS to respond to an eviction notice. weekend days count! there's no extensions. there's no delays. there's no appeals. yet rich people like trump are given weeks to respond to lawsuits and court orders. there's endless delay tactics and appeals. they're given months, even YEARS, to go through the judicial process. why does the law give rich people more options, more exceptions and more time to do EVERYTHING?

In the cases DeShaney vs. Winnebago and Town of Castle Rock vs. Gonzales, the supreme court has ruled that police agencies are not obligated to provide protection of citizens. In other words, police are well within their rights to pick and choose when to intervene to protect the lives and property of others — even when a threat is apparent. In both of these court cases, clear and repeated threats were made against the safety of children — but government agencies chose to take no action.

by law thomas is REQUIRED to recuse himself. even the mere hint of impropriety demands judges to recuse themselves. will thomas do what's required by ethics and the law? NOT BLOODY LIKELY! we already have 5 supreme court justices who committed perjury to get on the court. i wouldn't expect them to stsart acting ethically or legally now. we'll have to wait, and wait AND WAIT some some more to see if ANY law will ever be enforced against trump! two legal principles come to mind - 1) if you want justice go to a brothel. if want to get screwed go to court. 2) the chomsky quote - lawyers are paid to tell us the law doesn't mean what it says. the law is ridiculously and needlessly complicated. equalism says "complication divides. simplification unites." complication in the law exists to create ambiguity. and ambiguity in the law invites, no, almost always results in corruption and favors the privileged, the criminal and the unethical rich.

@tomogden2432 ... i don't post bullshit. but you obviously do.
18
to fund the govt through a giant increase in sales tax is ridiculous. in the first place it puts more of a strain on the lower classes. a poor person will spend almost all their income on goods and services every month. the rich save and invest much more money than they spend. so in the long run the lower classes will be paying a much higher percentage of their income on TAXES and the rich much less. this sounds like another insane "libertarian." teaparty, maga thing. gotta help those rich people get richer and bear less responsibility on social problems. which, by the way, isn't really libertarian at all. its fascist. only in the u. s. could the rich completely corrupt the meaning of "libertarianism."

the day trump is ever held accountable for any of his 1000s of crimes will be the day hell, literally, freezes over and mickey mouse is elected emperor of the universe

if anyone sees this comment please respond because i'm afraid i'm being blocked from this channel.
16
@tja3495 ... no, i'm responding to the lead comment that asks - "Why aren’t the parents prosecuting the cops!" its because the supreme court, in the cases i listed above, has determined that police forces, the govt, has no legal obligation to protect the public from anything. if they do so, they do so at their own descretion. the courts are actually saying enforcing the law isn't a requirement of law enforcement. that's what our country has been reduced to. corporations are people and can bribe politicians at will (citizen's united descision) and cops can do as they please.
15
i agree. i mean a fine would be nice. a charge of fraud would be nice. i mean, really, this isn't even a slap on the wrist. its equivilant to saying "bad boy" to a dog.

YT KEEPS BLOCKING MY ANTI-TRUMP COMMENTS!
14
@julianriveracarrera3344 ... i've chosen the side of reality and sanity. btw, there are good people on both sides. but trump ain't one of them. and neither is tucker carlson. to demonize EVERYONE you dislike or disagree with isn't socialist or democratic. its fascist. i refuse to play that game. its done nothing but keep humanity divided and enslaved for 6000 years!

i live in kern county, california which is mccarthy's district. all the poor being purged by L. A. county due to the INSANE property values there, are coming to kern county. america's poor are finding out they're not wanted or being allowed to live ANYWHERE! i live in a very small town and rental rates and property values are astronomical. a small house here is on the market for a HALF A MILLION DOLLARS! or more. and neither side is doing a damned thing to reel in the criminal increase in property values across the country. capitalism is a GREAT BOON for the rich but a HUGE FAILURE for everyone else. and until we accept the fact that greed and unlimited profits for the few are NO legitimate premise on which to base an econmomic system things are only going to get worse!
13
i whole-heartedly agree with mr. alexander except on one point. the term "ad nauseam" doesn't apply to hearing and learning more about the 1-6 insurrection. but "ad nauseam" does apply to the continued, non-stop cover-up and lies, trump, fox news, maga and the GOP keep telling about that horrible day that THEY are responsible for.

jordan worded his statement like trump would. "pro-crime" and "anti-victim" sounds like what a vindictive, spoiled child would say. but this gives bragg the unique opportunity to arrest jordan and his criminal cohorts for inrefereing with an official govt function and the enforcement of the law. but of course bragg won't do this. so, he deserves what he gets.
10
of course. we can't violate the right of people to violate the rights of others. IT WOULD BE ANARCHY! i'm beginning to think a little anarchy is what we need right now. nothing else is working to make society any better.
10
what was being played on congress tv before this? why are there tv's in the public areas of the capital anyway? and since when does the "speaker of the house" have all this unilateral power? its not in the constitution. i said this even back when pelosi held that position - the u.s. govt is ruled by 4 different dictators competing for power; the speaker of the house, the senate majority leader, the president and, as one entity, the supreme court. these four entities have dictatorial powers over their realms. that doesn't even include the privileged corporations that rule the govt. this isn't a democracy. ITS A MONSTROSITY!
10
my question is - why is there any question about removing and prosecuting any judge who committed perjury and fraud to gain their position? here's all i seem to be hearing these days, concerning trump, his cohorts and his spreme court appointees - "should we actually prosecute rich people for breaking the law?" we keep being told that no one's above the law and then its constantly demonstrated there's a lot of people above the law. just once i'd like a myth about american exceptionalism to be true. let's demonstrate no one REALLY is above the law! i won't hold my breath.
10
ain't that the truth? here's my question - if lying is the only way you can people to agree with you, what's the point? if you can't persuade people through honesty then resorting to lies kind of defeats the purpose. what's the old saying? "its easier to convince people of a lie than to convince them they've been lied to." people are fickle, bullheaded and stubborn as hell. once they get a false idea in their head its almost impossible to deprogram them. even observable reality is rejected in favor of blind loyality to your cause. the police-state, that both sides applaud, isn't a future threat, its a present reality. i FEAR for the future of my species.
10
@titaniumismagical8643 ... attacking things isn't anarchy my friend. its hooliganism. we anarchists aren't hooligans. we don't attack things simply because some fascist like trump tells us to. anarchists believe in as little govt and authority as possible. maga wants big fascist govt to enforce the will of trump; their fascist cult leader. there's no such thing as a fascist anarchist. fascism and anarchism are diametrically opposed to one another.

the problem is the legal industry that defines a "quick trial date" as a year away! it may be normal but ITS NOT QUICK! in fact that's INSANE! in the "documents case" the defense has had 2 1/2 years ALREADY to prepare a defense. the classification of the documents is secondary. to take from the govt, withold from the govt and hide from the govt ANY govt document is a crime. trump's lawyers have been working this case for over 2 years already. they don't need anymore time to prepare a defense for these indefensible acts. trump will die of old age before he's ever held accountable in any american court.
9
@v.j447 ... good. thanks for responding. now i know their not. i was just curious because this is the only channel no one ever responds to my comments. i feel so unappreciated.
8
@kamalhillard2974 ... you appeal in the circuit with jurisdiction. you bypass cannon's court altogeher. she's not the judge with standing in this case. that would be Reinhart the judge who issued the search warrant.

@kwitwerikok8o863 ... "policies" are enforced as laws. just look at corporations. you violate their policies, as a consumer or an employee, they can have you arrested and prosecuted. but if they violate a law against you all you can do, if you have the money, is sue them civil court. the crimes you commit put you in jail. the crimes they commit are "civil" offenses. i've been blatantly ripped off and defrauded, one way or another, by EVERY corporation i ever did business with. who do i call to press charges? and just who do i press charges against? the cashier? their computer programmer? the manager is just following corporate policy. the corporate headquaters and CEO's are 1000s of miles away in different jurisdictions, often, that allow them special privileges to commit certain crimes. its called capitalism. the whole thig is one big scam!
7
i want it to rain chocolate and lollipops but that ain't happening either. what's really disturbing is that all these federal politicians and judges are paid extremly high salaries. these salaries are justified as a means to prevent corruption and pay offs of govt officials. 'if they're paid enough" the rational goes "they won't be tempted by bribery." makes sense. but it doesn't work. everything crowe paid for on thomas' behalf, thomas coiuld've easily paid for himself. the extravagant vacations, tuitions and lord knows what else. but wealth invites greed. it doesn't discourage it. rich people get crap for free all the time. they believe they're entitled to it because they're rich. now that DOESN'T make sense. but that's how rich people think. YOU DON'T DESERVE FREE SHIT but, for some distorted, indefensible reason, they do. isn't capitalism great?
7
a lot of did us did listen to ms. hill. just like we listened to the women trump raped and kavanah abused. we listened to the abuse victims that jordan tried to silence. we listen to the victims of gay abuse, parental abuse and mass shootings. we listen to whistle-blowers and victims of medical malpractice and poverty. odd, how we only listen to the victims we want to hear. any whistle-blowers who expose a truth we don't want to hear we simply ignore and attack. we close our eyes, ears and sympathy to ALL "inconvenient truths." its called "rationalization." if people didn't rationalize their own apathy and cruelty on a daily basis we wouldn't be able to live with ourselves. YET, the world would undoubtedly be a better place if we ALL stopped our selective and prejudiced denial of reality.

@v.j447 ... you think that's cute you should see my collection of ancient pornographic paperclips. the one's from Sumer are really fascinating. they were found holding the dead sea scrolls together.
5
@davechae5890 ... thanks for your kind response but i'm not really in a good mood. i just recently found out i'm going blind in my left eye. there's treatment for it but its being denied me because i don't have a ride home and hospitals and doctors refuse to hospitalize me to get the treatment. i'm also being denied dental care while i have three broken teeth and a much needed MRI! all in all this has been going on for over 12 years. so, i'm not a happy camper. i'm mad as hell despite my occasional humorous outbursts.
5
@titaniumismagical8643 ... btw, the "anarchy" statement in my original comment was a joke. i was making fun of the judge and maga.
5
here's an idea i just thought of. how about making it a law that any judge who's overturned by an appeals court 5 times, is instantly disbarred. no time limit. wouldn't that lessen the number of ridiculous and unlawful decisions being made by lower courts? does anyone have a thought on this?
5
@aaronpincus6095 ... just tell me what it says. i don't want to go back and listen to it again. but thanks for the last part of your comment. its apprecoiated. your $5 is in the mail. i also sent 5 bucks to clarence thomas. you think that'll bribe him into doing the right thing? i can go as high as $7.50.
5
@paradisepipeco ... nicely said. but it needs a correction. "con" is a verb. its an act. you con someone into doing something. "con-artist" or "con-man" is the noun. its a person also known as a "confidence man." a con-artist will con you into doing something you wouldn't normally do. also the word "con," as a noun, is short for "convict." an ex-con is someone who's been incarcerated but has served their sentence.
5
the word is "struck" btw. what? the prosecution can't violate a "brady order" but trump can violate a subpeona? if the prosecution has any so-called "evidence' in trump's favor they should deny it, retain it, hide it, cover it up just like trump did with the documents he stole. of course i'm just kidding but it does make sense. why should the prosecution be the only one's to tell the truth? how about demanding the defense turn over all evidence that proves trump's guilt?
5
... trump should've been arrested the day he left office, everyday he was in office, everyday during his campaign and everyday the 30 years prior to his campaign. trump's been on a 45 year crime spree. and EVERY d. a. and prosecutor who REFUSED to enforce the law against trump belong in prison too! this dispicable corruption MUST END!
5
