  3. i'm an american but i'm not proud. i'm ashamed. why would i be be proud of living in a country that denies me my basic rights to medical care, housing and legal representation? i'm about to go blind from a treatable disease medicare denies me treatment for. i'm denied MRIs and much needed tooth extractions. my rent has increase over 24% in two years while my social security only increased 15%. and i live in so-called affordable houising! govt subsideized housing is now booked for over 5 YEARS! although i have a steady income and a small savinbgs, now i'm not being allowed to move because rental properties nationwide are now DEMANDING 3 times the rent in income!
