  1. i want it to rain chocolate and lollipops but that ain't happening either. what's really disturbing is that all these federal politicians and judges are paid extremly high salaries. these salaries are justified as a means to prevent corruption and pay offs of govt officials. 'if they're paid enough" the rational goes "they won't be tempted by bribery." makes sense. but it doesn't work. everything crowe paid for on thomas' behalf, thomas coiuld've easily paid for himself. the extravagant vacations, tuitions and lord knows what else. but wealth invites greed. it doesn't discourage it. rich people get crap for free all the time. they believe they're entitled to it because they're rich. now that DOESN'T make sense. but that's how rich people think. YOU DON'T DESERVE FREE SHIT but, for some distorted, indefensible reason, they do. isn't capitalism great?

  2. a lot of did us did listen to ms. hill. just like we listened to the women trump raped and kavanah abused. we listened to the abuse victims that jordan tried to silence. we listen to the victims of gay abuse, parental abuse and mass shootings. we listen to whistle-blowers and victims of medical malpractice and poverty. odd, how we only listen to the victims we want to hear. any whistle-blowers who expose a truth we don't want to hear we simply ignore and attack. we close our eyes, ears and sympathy to ALL "inconvenient truths." its called "rationalization." if people didn't rationalize their own apathy and cruelty on a daily basis we wouldn't be able to live with ourselves. YET, the world would undoubtedly be a better place if we ALL stopped our selective and prejudiced denial of reality.
