  2.  @markpmar0356  ... what the elite have been doing the last 25 years, since the internet kicked in, is "bubble" economics. these bubbles raise prices in different economnic sectors. the rich rake in huge profits and when the bubble bursts society pays the price. there was the internet bubble. it burst. the mortgage bubble. it burst. recently there was a covid-19 and used car bubbles that sent prices soaring. during covid-19 the profits of the rich increased some 30%. now there's a housing bubble and it's burst. congress holds committees to cuss out the CEOs but don't punish them for the harm they cause only encouraging them to move on to the next bubble. meanwhile the govt does nothing to stop the elite from pulling these scams. at best, they just offer more ineffective govt programs or offer no help at all!
