@bonitajanssen745 ... i'm glad to hear you don't like trump too. i quit conforming to this insane world over 50 years when i was a teenager. its led to nothing but a life-time of misery. but that doesn't matter. my soul ISN'T for sale. i will never comply to the gangsters who rule us all and who want to abuse and enslave me.

we have to examine why its so hard for people to say "no" to crazy, corrupt, disgusting people? the left does it too. its like we don't want to hurt the feelings of our abusers. we accept delusion over reality, falshoods over facts and absurdity of common sense just so we feel like we're a part of something. we want to belong and be accepted so bad we're willing to abandon all logic and observable reality. we're willing to betray our own ethics and integrity. why is that?

(almost lost your comment in the process.) fear, not hate, just may be the actual opposite of "love." fear causes hate. not the other way around. but both sides propagate fear to motivate their followers. both sides misapply love. maybe we should replace the word "love" with "respect and tolerance." of which both sides are seriously lacking these days. insults and ridicule rule the day. right now i FEAR being ruled by the left or right. i see both sides have gone completely bonkers. they push ideas and policies so extreme, fanatical and absurd they're DESIGNED to cause and intensify our divisions. these absurdities are designed to cause an extreme reaction from the other side. this causes fear and leads to hate. americans on both sides are being played, defrauded. they're falling for the age-old fascist strategy of "divide and conquer." we've betrayed ourselves. we accept opinion over science, delusion over reality, falshoods over fact and wishful thinking over common sense. we so easily recognize the fascism of others but are completely oblivious to our own fascism. facism is now an accepted tactic on BOTH SIDES! but neither side sees it or admits it. and its only gotten worse over the last 30, 40 years. personally, i'm sick of the whole damned thing.

@kimlr-herring ... see? you don't recognize your own fascism. odd how both sides denounce the police-state UNLESS it can be used to enforce their own prejudices. i started to write a list of leftist fascism but it got too long. i'll try to simplify - the gay lobby is fascist. the illegal immigrant lobby is fascist. the left's support for DACA is fascist. its denunciation of women's rights is fascist. the left endorces big govt which is fascist. the left use and applaud police-state technology which is fascist. its anti-smoking stance is fascist. the left's betrayal of the poor is fascist. its embracing of black, gangster culture is fascist. the left is racist against whites. that's fascist. the left use schools to indoctrinate children and encourage school districts to lie to students and keep secrets from parents. that's fascist. they don't respect religious beliefs or political dissent. the left has become intolerant of and demonizes ANYONE who disagrees with them. that's fascist. they reject science, biology and observable reality. that's fascist. the left dehumanizes, demonizes and ridicules all who disagree with them. even other leftists! that's fascist. specifically, the dems embracing of capitalism is fascist. the dems are just as pro-corporate and elitist as the GOP. that's fascist. the left wants to use trhe power of the state to enforce their prejudices, delusions and absurdities just like the right does. the reality is we have NO REAL LEFT in this country anymore. we just have two fascist groups competing for power to see who can convince more people of their hate, absurdities, lies and delusions.

@kimlr-herring .... fascism and authoritarianism are the same thing. all fascists are authoritarians. all corporations are fascist and thus authoritarian. they demand absolute rule and power over all society. there's only two types of "govt;" democratic and fascist. democracies are anti-authoritarian and fascism is pro-authoritarian. the only difference between authoritarianism and totalitarianism is the technology available to enforce it. so, thanks to corporate police-state technology, totalitarianism has replaced authoritarianism in the real world. we currently live in a technological corporate police-state. and the "left" want to use it to oppress and enslave us just like the right does.

@kimlr-herring ... race is actually a construct created by science that identifies observable physical differences among different groups of humans. its called "physical anthropology." physical anthropology doesn't make determinations of racial superiority. racism and ethnocentricity existed long before physical anthropology was created. prejudices and hate was based not just upon racial but also cultural differnces. the greeks were a white, Caucasian race. but they taught their culture made them superior even to other Caucasians. whites enslaved whites, blacks enslaved blacks. native americans and orientals all enslaved peoples of their own race simply based upon the beliefs that their culture made them superior. all races owned slaves and all races were slaves. often this false belief of superiority was based upon technological and military advances. race hatred and cultural prejudices wasn't invented by white people. it was created by the ruling elite to consolidate their power over their own people. its easier to enslave your own people when you allow them to enslave other people of different races and cultures.
