ain't that the truth? here's my question - if lying is the only way you can people to agree with you, what's the point? if you can't persuade people through honesty then resorting to lies kind of defeats the purpose. what's the old saying? "its easier to convince people of a lie than to convince them they've been lied to." people are fickle, bullheaded and stubborn as hell. once they get a false idea in their head its almost impossible to deprogram them. even observable reality is rejected in favor of blind loyality to your cause. the police-state, that both sides applaud, isn't a future threat, its a present reality. i FEAR for the future of my species.

yep, life-time positions, in the public or private sectors, aren't a good idea. this includes judges, cops, news anchors and reporters, politicians who spend 30, 40, 50 years in legislatures, CEOs and corporate board members, teachers and principles and about anything else you can think of. life-time positions, whether elected, appinted or hired, are anti-democratic and violate the very principles of "democracy" and "justice."

anyone who posts or spreads an intentional lie on-line is not only committing fraud, A CRIME, they're making it harder for people who have legitimate opnions that differ from the official, govt or corporate narrative. eventually these fascist lies, that both sides spread, will lead to censorship laws that prevent ANY opnion that differs from the official position from being posted. for instance, i've already been censored from posting facts and defending reality right here on youtube countless times. both the gun-lobby and the gay-lobby censor any comment that questions the absurdities they falsley claim as facts. certain groups are given the privilege to spread whatever lies they want while censoring any facts that contradict their baseless and utterly ridiculous positions. the police-state, whether be ruled by the fascists on the right or left, isn't a future problem its a present reality. i fear for the future of my species.
