stupidity, racism, bigotry and hate aren't monopolized by any one race, ethnicity, religion or culture. but they ALL have one basic, universal origin - THE ELITE! the elite taught us to hate each other and its they who profit and benefit from the hate THEY created. I, for one, am no longer playing this damned elitist game of divide and conquer. are we EVER going to stop letting the elite manipulate us and herd us? to categorize us, label us and separate us? I think its damned time we UNITE and tell the elite we WON'T listen to their LIES ANYMORE!

@elloko8303 … why trump? seriously, you have to ask that question? haven't you heard ANYTHING trump has said these last 5 years. he butters his bread with hate. he throws daily insults and threats around as a means to rev up his support and gain media attention. he's nothing but a liar, bully and a thug. he encourages violence and inspires hate with every tweet and at EVERY one of his fascist rallies. trump thrives on creating fear and divisions and hopes to gain political advantage from his hateful, anti-American rhetoric. and you ask - why trump?

yep, then instead of passing laws to protect us from these mass shootings the politicians will succumb to the bullet-proof-vest and gun manufacturer lobbies and pass laws to force is all to buy guns and bullet-proof-vests.

@angelrojo3846 … I wish that were true. but the reality is the elite, our oppressors, choose our candidates, and, when it suits them, they choose the winners. just look at trump. he lost the election but they put him in the white house anyway. the elite have corrupted EVERYTHING! they own our federal state and local govts, at least 70% of our politicians and the elite write ALL our laws. I wish voting counted for something but unfortunately it doesn't.

@robertw1800 … torture isn't the solution to anything. and state sponsored torture is an abomination. its as low as humanity can go. our constitutional protections against "cruel and unusual punishment" aren't to protect the guilty but to protect the falsely accused. and to prevent politically motivated insanity disguised as crime fighting measures. what better way to stop your political opponents than to falsely accuse them of crimes and then torture them to death. torture is barbaric and inexcusable under ANY circumstances.

@robertw1800 ...the death penalty applies to the points of my last post. its barbaric, kills innocent people and can be used for political purposes. and, since most violent acts are impulsive, the existence of the death penalty doesn't prevent them. those committing violence do so either at the spur of the moment, without the intent of getting caught or without regards to the punishment. life imprisonment and PREVENTION are our only 2 legitimate options when dealing with such insanity.
