  5.  @dennetoregon ... i've been trying to move out of california for 2 years! there's no place "better" to move to. americans are royally screwed no matter what state they live in. poverty, homelessness, inflation, rents and property values are ALL at INSANE highs everywhere. the nation is inundated with crumbling infrastructure, delipidated houses and boarded up store fronts. corporations control everything and make all the decisions everywhere. and huge, convoluted, pass-the-buck govt bureaucracies and political corruption are everywhere. we're not ruled by govt anymore (as if we ever were) but by a devious, greedy and unethical gangster class that gets its way on EVERY issue! i'd leave the country but i'm too poor to move.
