@danhtran6401 ... jesus actually roamed the countryside but stayed at the homes of his followers, at their invitation. jesus wasn't homeless so much as he was a "professional" guest in the homes of others. btw, that's a GOOD thing. it demonstrates compassion and unity. his followers wouldn't only offer jesus food and lodging but would offer it to each other and to strangers in need. its compassion and empathy is what made "christianity" so revolutionary. like "buddhism," it offered kindness to EVERYONE! that is, until the ruling elite got ahold of it and corrupted it to suit their greed and cruelty.

"private" charities are the REAL scam. 90% of the money recieved from donations go towrds million dollar salaries for the charity's CEO'S and for "overhead." they rely on volunteer labor while raking in millions for CEO and board member salaries and benefits. private sector charities FAIL in delivering any permanant relief to the needy. if they were successful those charities wouldn't be needed anymore. they'd be out of jobs. so private sector "charities" are BUSINESSES and CORPORATIONS! their goal IS PROFITS for themselves. they have NO intention of ending poverty. because they make their livings, AND FORTUNES, off the perpetuation of poverty.

BIG GOVT IS CAPITALISM! the ruling elite use big govt to protect its wealth, ensure its privilege and enforce its will. if we really had democracy in this country do you really think we';d still have poor? poverty exists because the fascist elite want it to exist.

homeless verterans? we're all "veterans." we're all citizens! but homelss veterans are the perfect symbol for GOP economic policies. they claim to respect and admire the military and then treat the soldiers like SCUM! yep, its true, where capitalism rears its ugly head devastation, destruction, corruption and human misery follow. right now, in the u. s., there's over 85 million POOR! that's in a country of only about 330 million. that's a poverty rate of about 26%! but the "official" statistics say its less than 10%. go figure. since the beginning of the reagan era, elitist wealth has INCREASED over 500%. but labor wages and benefits have DECREASED in real value. unions have been effectively outlawed, we've been suffering from hyper-inflation, artificially and ridiculously high property values, a decrease in our life expectancy and an increase in our mortality rate. and trump only exacerbated these trends. trump and his traitor co-horts have done 50 years of damage in only 4 short years. we'll be paying for trump's corruption and treason for DECADES TO COME! thanks to reagan's, trump's and the GOP's economic policies, that have been perpetuated by the dems like clinton and obama, the u. s. has become a "third world" country. yet, somehow, the GOP keep winning elections? kinda makes you think don't it? RIGGED ELECTIONS? HELL YES! and its almost exclusively on the GOP side.

@billturner8377 ... what many don't realize is that, through low or non-existent taxation, other tax loopholes, govt contracts and subsidies, u. s. corporations and the rich are the biggest recipients of govt welfare. many rich and their corporations pay no taxes at all and some even receive huge TAX REFUNDS when they paid no taxes. meanwhile corporations flood society with the lie that the poor, the elderly and disabled are all lazy, undeserving and greedy welfare addicts and cheats. its odd, no, its criminal, how the u. s. and state govts rarely have enough money to help the poor but always enough money to give to the rich. even when it helps the poor the rich benefit too. nothing gets done in this country unless it makes rich people richer.

@actualsurfer ... actually, they don't even print it anymore. its all digitized now and done electronically. the fed creates digital money out of nothing. then gives it to the banks for consumer loans. then the banks can make profits from the interest produced from loans from money they NEVER HAD and never existed to begin with! that's how the system works. rich people CAN'T LOSE! the system is rigged that way.
