  1. you're right. guns aren't the problem- gun culture IS the problem. the worship of fire-arms is the problem. the militarization of the police, concealed carry permits, weapons manufacturers and pop culture glamorizing deadly weapons ARE the problem! for every person shot by soldier, a cop or a madman the weapons and munitions industry made a profit! the NRA and the weapons culture and the weapons industry it represents and protects IS the problem. this weapons industry has perpetuated the falsehood of the American weapons tradition. its created the MYTH that Americanism and fire-arms are synonymous. THEY AREN'T and never have been.

I have an idea. lets deputize all teachers. we'll let the police educate our kids. or better yet - let the military educate the kids. we'll have soldiers as teachers and military brass as school administrators. or we can just let the NRA and weapons manufacturers "certify" all our teachers and all teachers must swear allegiance. to the gun lobby for their education certificates. yea - lets militarize and weaponize. the WHOLE damned country. that's the problem - there AREN'T enough gun fanatics in our country! we don't have enough of a police state in America. we need MORE surveillance., more check points more elitist oversight and control. we need MORE profiteering in our govt. we need MORE gun sales. lets just shoot EVERYONE who refuses to buy a gun - that'll teach 'em!

  4. the ole argument that its the shooter not the gun that's the problem isn't resolving the problem. we've allowed the elitist NRA and the fire-arms industry use that excuse for MANY decades now and people continue to be shot down like dogs by cops, criminals and madmen! the gun lobby has had its way for TOO long. they've been buying off our govt for TOO long. they've been profiting from human misery for TOO long. its time for another approach.

  6. +equalist... the 2nd amendment has nothing to with the myth of the American gun tradition. it doesn't tell people to worship fire-arms. the NRA is a gun manufacturer lobby. they represent the profiteers of violence. its the glamorization and commercialization of the gun culture that the NRA perpetuates that's the problem. its the gun industry's buying off our politicians that's the problem. I founded an unique philosophy called equalism. your screen name makes me think it might be of interest to you. equalism isn't just a generic word meaning "equality" its a distinct and specific philosophy I founded with its own terminology and view of history. for instance. equalism doesn't divide society into left and right, liberal and conservative, black and white. it rejects "identity" politics which only serves our oppressors by keeping us divided. equalism separates society into predators and non-predators. predators wish to dominate and exploit others while non-predators respect INDIVIDUAL rights. equalism UNITES the left and right through the mutual protection of each others rights.
