@sherylmac40 ... tell me if i'm wrong, but an existential crises is when one tries to rationalize and finally grasps the real futility of life and your truly, very small, inconsequential and insignificant place in the greater scheme of the things; in the lonely, dark, empty vastness of the universe. ourselves, everything we know, everything we think we know is but a small, microscopic, miniscule blip in the history of the universe. and it will eventually all be over, everything, even the universe will be gone and all existence will come to an end. and there's not a damned thing anyone can do about it. that's an existential crises!

@SweetSourPickle ... that's funny because you're not talking about an "existential crisis" but an "existential comfort." its true, existentialism provides comfort to many for the exact same reasons it causes distress in others.

@richardwills-woodward ... before there was money there was social equality and community cooperation. there was no theft, no privilege, no accumulation of wealth. no small section of society living in utter oppulance while the rest of humanity living is living in utter poverty. THERE WAS NO SLAVERY AND NO CORRUPTION! why? because there was NO incentive for these things until money was unleashed on humanity. it was the elite who invented money or money that created an elite that has been oppressing and enslaving humanity for over 6000 years. everything else you wrote is incorrect too.

@daniel4647 ... i think you misunderstood my post. i don't view the universe as hostile. but the elite do. and they've created a human society here on earth that both reflects and enforces their "hostile" philosophy. if we want a better society we MUST REMOVE this elite from power and install a non-hostile, non-predatory social system that reflects our true human nature of compassion, kindness, cooperation and unity.

MONEY, MATERIALISM, POWER and DOMINANCE aren't vague, nebulous or empty terms at all. you speak english? you realize words have definitions, right? so you want me to a write a book, in this comments section and in the book you want me to define every word i use so you'll understand it? who the hell do you think the elite are? the word has a clear definiton. here's a clue - it ain't the poor that's for sure. you ask... "Are we any less petty and greedy than they (the Elite) are?" i sure as hell am. its this damned predatory, capitalist fascist system that pits us against each other. the system is devised to reward aggression and benefit predatiors while punishing ethics and integrity. this isn't our natural instinct. it violates human nature. just what exactly is your problem with what i wrote? do you embrace and practice greed, materialism, power and dominmation? you do realize that's what fascists embrace? you're just a fascist troll, go away. there. was that a long enough book for you? i bet you didn't even read it.

here's a thought. there towards the end its said the ship had been traveling to the point where all molecules have decayed. doesn't that mean the molecules of the ship and its inhabitants would've decayed as well? you can't exist in a void where all matter has decayed because you would've decayed right along with everything else. unless, i suppose, traveling at the speed of light somehow protects you from decay. so, does it?
