now if only we can learn to treat people as well, as patiently, as trustingly, as compassionately and as respectfully as we treat these animals, we just might be onto something there. and, no, i'm not suggesting we cage people to get compliance and cooperation. but there are other ways. you'd be surprised just how far a kind act or an encouraging word can go to get people to stop hurting and hating one another.

definitely. these dedicated people deserve our praise and thanks. in fact, i'd trust them to make the REQUIRED environmental decisions our rulers are refusing to make. protect their habitat? we don't even protect our own habitat! its a GLOBAL habitat that's taken 1000's if not millions of years to develop. and we're destroying it all in a matter of a few short centuries. the ONLY way to protect our global habitat is to REMOVE from power the elite who're bent on destroying it in the name of personal wealth and corporate profits. otherwise, you can kiss our lovely, life enforcing habitat goodbye.

Johnny Sins ... wow, you're trashing me because i wrote two whole paragraphs? here's my advice, don't read it if you don't want to. and next time comment on what i write. not the length of what i write. you call me a "dramatic little dive?" you're a nut! making a big deal about something so inconsequential when the planet, OUR HOME, is under constant threat.

i disagree. it shows ALL acts of kindness as being HUGE gestures. no one knows just what kind of a positive effect being kind can have on our everyday lives. unfortunately we live in a global environment the encourages and REWARDS cruelty and abuse. particularly, from our rich, elitists rulers who think they're wealth and oppulance gives them privilege to be apathetic, greedy and corrupt. see, if we make kindness, integrity and ethics THE LAW, rather than corruption, greed and predation, then we'll be on the right track to restoring the TRUE HUMANITY humans have gradually lost over the last 6000 years. here's an idea - LET'S DO IT! let's stop following the worst humanity has to offer and start living as we know we should!

well, what can i say except - that was just wonderful. i never before noticed how aussies raise the pitch of their voices at the end of almost every sentence. americans do this at the end of a question. but this young lady does it at the end of almost every sentence. its just so endearing. anyway, good luck with the magpies. they're such feisty little creatures.

well, its more freedom than they ever had. but i'd hardly call it freedom. but i'm certainly glad they're finally free from the horrible life of circus animals forced to do tricks for our entertainment.
