  2. kaczynski was RIGHT in his conclusions but WRONG in his solutions. he wasn't the first to warn humanity of the corporate police-state that would evolve from unchecked and unfettered technological advancement. there were 1000s before him even going back 1000 years. but as usual, as in the cases of nuclear energy and weapons and climate change, the warnings of their dangers were ignored in favor of the ruling elite's increased wealth, profits and power. and now 90% of humanity is dependent on and addicted to this overpriced, police-state technology. why? because ethics, common sense and logic can't compete with the onslaught of corporate commercialism, capitalist materialism and consumer based economics. whoever controls the narrative controls the future. we've been conditioned and brainwashed by a century of corporate advertising to betray our natural instincts, reject the natural world and deny our natural place in that world.
