tell me about it. i've been attacked by my neighbors music for 7 years now! it invades and controls MY LIFE! they won't stop! my neighbors now tell me when i can watch tv, read and sleep. because i can no longer do ANYTHING of these things when i choose. the landlord refuses to enforce the lease and the cops refuse to enforce the law. our country's gone to crap. I WANT MY RIGHTS BACK! my right to live my life as i choose without being controled and harrassed by others!

i can name one swift song. its called "i rake in the big corporate bucks as i poison american culture." its also the same song EVERY rapper sings. i remember when the music media declared the bay city rollers were "bigger" than the beatles. then they declared the hack michael jackson "bigger" than the beatles. in the 90s it was britany spears and then justin beiber or kanye west. with the horrific state of the world as it is right now i wouldn't be surprised if swift was "bigger" than the beatles. if its true the only response is how sad it is and it demonstrates how corporations have corrupted the music industry. THE WORLD SUX!

@FRAME5RS ... good point. there's no GREAT musicians anymore. (you can find a few on YT but these aren't the people releasing music.) today, its all about the obnoxious BIG SHOW not the music. dancers, light shows, explosions - its all corporate manipulation. as for 80s music i was often criticized for not having any 80s music in my collection. so i purposely looked for good 80s music and finally found a few groups that impressed me. "the godfathers" were GREAT! "green on red" has an excellent album called "gravity talks." "love and rockets" is another of my favorites. i'm sure there must be some decent music today, but with all the rap crap and corporate crap its impossible to sift through all the crap and find it.

@Ioanna.1313 ... in the first place my comment wasn't a response to you. its true, i do everything i can to avoid crap. but i do investigate and expose myself even to crap i think i won't like. 99% of the time my initial reaction is the correct one. like all rappers, swift is a CORPORATE creation. at best she's a performer not an artist. i like her. she seems like a fine person to me. its her so-called "music" i don't like. if you like her, or her music, that's ok by me. all i can do is ask YOU explore the great music from the past. broaden your horrizons. if you do so i'll bet your admiration for swift will diminish. and you'll ask, as so many others have, how did america's culture deterioate to its present gutter level?!

@Ioanna.1313 ... my friend, did you watch this video? she doesn't write her own songs. or she only co-wtites them. give me a taylor swift song with a kick ass guitar solo or a great bass line. who are the GREAT musicians who back her up? its all canned backing music - computer generated. i prefer taylor swift BEFORE she was richer than god! before she was famous and when she posted videos on her own. like so many others she's just a sell out - a corporate shill. she isn't THE WORST EVER but an example of how corrupted american culture has gotten.

@Ioanna.1313 ... i want to make myself clear. its ok by me to like taylor swift and her music. like whatever you like. i'm not asking you to hate her. just broaden your musical horrizons. expose yourself to other music. me? my tastes are very eclectic. i love classical, jazz, c&w, swing, folk, blue grass and rock. not rap - RAP SUX! i listen to music that's 200 years old and from the 30s through the 90s. even a little from the 2000s. there's a lot of great music out there. i'd love to turn you on to some. mozart, louis armstrong, yes, hank williams, glen miller, the yardbirds, miles davis, chuck berry. the list is almost endless. but even these great artists had clunkers. you have to know which songs to listen to.

@FRAME5RS ... i agree. not a big fan of all these retro concerts. but i guess its a way to keep their music alive. i was never a big concert goer growing up. maybe i went to 25 concerts my whole life. but i did see mcartney/wings, the who, skynyrd and elo in the 70s. among others. i saw pink floyd twice - once in the 70s and in the early 80s i won tickets from a radio contest to see them. never a big fan of "metal" either. i thought those "hair bands" were kinda silly. but i did have one van halen album in my collection. "diver down" is an excellent album. not a big fan of "punk" either. but the violent femmes first album is one of the best r&r albums ever made. hated disco but kc and the sunshine band was tolerable. what makes the music culture of these past decades so special was the musicianship and the variety. there was something for everyone. even people with bad taste! (HA!)

@Ioanna.1313 ... yes. you swayed me. swift is a GENIUS! she is the most creative, talented and legendary entertainer to ever live. now... back to reality. i'm just asking you to listen to other music as well as hers. i'm thrilled you're such a loyal swift fan. but don't limit your exposure to other music. oh, yes, and another so-called "type" of music i strongly dislike is boybands and j-pop and k-pop. i'm intersted in your opnion of BTS and blackpink. i love current japanese, far east culture. particularly their horror movies and female rock bands like bandmaid, babymetal, the milkees, the 5, 6, 7, 8s and gacharic spin.

@davidmueller9342 ... you know when i was a teenager in the 70s, me, my friends and no one i knew listened to the so-called "hits." am radio played top 40 crap. top 40 music was for old dorks and teenie boppers. in the 60s many of the hits were pretty good but in the 70s, with a few exceptions, that changed. the grammy's used to really piss me off because they combined "pop" and "rock" into the same category and pop songs always won. we listened to fm radio which had a completely different vibe than am. even the dj's were different. am dj's were childish, loud and bombastic. hard sell like used car salesmen. fm dj's were calm and mature. until howard stern came along and trashed fm radio with his childish "shock jock" antics. my point is we shouldn't be judging the quality of ANY MUSIC based upon its broad, mass, commercial appeal. its appealing to the lowest common denominator which is what the corporations want. somehow, as far as culture and music goes, THE CORRUPT CORPORATIONS have won and have brainwashed 3 GENERATIONS of americans into accepting cookie-cutter schlock as "art."

@davidmueller9342 ... i prefer the pre-fame taylor. before the corporations corrupted her and turned her into a super-pop hack. she's a lowest common denominator appeal, cookie-cutter, mega-commercial corporation. its not her fault. the corporations have destroyed practically ALL american and western culture. since rap, boy-bands and britany spears things have gone to hell! sadly, its the times we're living in, i guess. btw, tell miss taylor i said HEY! its her music i don't like. @Juliana65 ... yep, its called THUGGISM! they claim their nonexistent right to distrurb you and make your life miseralbe supercedes YOUR REAL RIGHT not to be disturbed and your life made miserable. in my case my neighbor conducted 15 HOUR RACKET MARATHONS! 5 hour, 10 hour, 3 hour. it was constant nearly EVERYDAY! they will start at noon and end at three am. they will start at 8am and end at 11pm. it will go on and on and on! NO RELIEF FOR DAYS! or even weeks! and i had it ALL ON TAPE! and the landlord and cops ignore the complaints! just a couple of weeks ago i tried to file ANOTHER COMPLAINT! the cop DENIED ME THIS RIGHT AGAIN! he said - "we have better things to do than BABYSIT you people!" that statement, in itself, IS A CRIME! look up your county's noise ordaninances. THEY PROTECT US! but if the cops REFUSE to enforce the law what good are they? THUGGISM HAS POISONED OUR SOCIETY! and cops are a part of this thuggery. they think they can do whatever the hell they want to do just like the thugs attacking us all with their racket!

@JoeM1314 ... btw, i have well over 500 videos over 6 years of their racket. 90% of them forwarded to my landlord via email. when confronted my landlord told ME to move if i didn't like it!

@JoeM1314 ... no, it wasn't caught on tape or in writing. but it doesn't matter. i have enough evidence against these people without it. i have evidence of two acts of criminal fraud committed by these gangsters too. none of it matters! NO LAWYER WILL TALK TO ME! i'm poor. i'm an american. I HAVE NO RIGHTS! and the middle class doesn't have any more rights than i do. lawyers don't care. cops don't care. politicians don't care. the news media don't care! and i've contacted THEM ALL! no one cares! i'm denied medical attn. NO ONE CARES! this is how america works!
