  1. the democratic party is no more neutral on economics than the republicans are; they're BOTH capitalist. they're both pro-corporate and in the pockets of the elite. the democrats talk left but walk right. that's why candidates like lee carter, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez: and sanders are so important. although these people are social democrats, not true socialists, they are a refreshing and radical departure from neo-liberals who own the democratic party. and they are just a small example of what's needed to give the democratic party elite a good kick in the pants. and hopefully these liberal elite can finally be ousted from the left altogether and they can join the republican party where they belong.
