with socialism EVERYONE would've already possessed the masks. it would've been standard issue with ALL emergency kits each household would be encouraged to maintain. right along side the fire extinguishers, fire alarms, flashlights, batteries, bandages and anti-septic would be N-95 masks for the entire family. my point is if trump and his incompetent, criminal cartel weren't so greedy and irresponsible we should've had enough masks ON HAND to go to every adult citizen in the country; both health care workers and everyone else. the production and distribution of masks should've been the #ONE priority. followed by testing, isolation and social distancing followed by treatment, hospital beds and ventilators. if masks and distancing were implemented in a timely and efficient manner there'd be less need for hospital beds and ventilators right now.
