+jeff… you're so right. if politicians didn't lie they wouldn't get elected. if businicians didn't lie they wouldn't make any profits. what sets trump apart isn't that he lies but the degree to which he lies. he lied to dodge the draft and he's been lying ever since. he lies to business partners and his wives. he lies in interviews and in court. he lies about how great he is, taking credit for EVERYTHIING and passing blame on to others. he claims to be infallible and the greatest there ever was at everything he ever does. his narcissism and megalomania are at INSANE levels and he's in a constant and permanent state of denial, fraud, misrepresentation and deceit. he appears to have lost touch with objective reality and did so quite a long time ago.

+anonneemouse… its NOT "legal" for anyone to lie at any time. its called fraud and misrepresentation among other things. these laws aren't enforced because if they were ALL the elite would be in prison. all politicians, CEO's, executives and entrepreneurs would be behind bars because our entire political oligarchy and capitalist economic systems function through deceit, fraud and extortion.

as for your 8th grade civics class - there isn't, and never has been, any educational system that promotes or advocates fraud and deceit among its students. society teaches us to admire these traits among our rulers but not among ourselves. when an elitist lies, cheats and steals that's called "good business." when you or I do the same things its called a crime. seriously, is being ruled by the worse humanity has to offer really sound like a good idea to you?
