  9. looks like the venezuelans are facing the same corruption and fraud we americans are. oddly, this corruption and fraud is the result of the same cause - the American and global elite. these international scammers have sabotaged venezuelan economic and political systems. they enforce brutal sanctions and bankroll the opposition and fund hooligans in the streets. the world's elite despises ANYTHING that resembles or even calls itself socialist. all the suffering in Venezuela, today, is being caused by outside elitist forces.

  12. +Rob… you're living in a dream world. in reality, since thatcher and reagan elitist wealth increased over 1000% while working class wages have remained stagnant, the middle class is disappearing and poverty and hyper-inflation are on the rise. these trends are true in GB, Russia, China and Japan as well. the only places where poverty has actually decreased is in Canada, Scandinavia, western Europe and Cube where, not socialism, but "socialistic" measures have been enacted to better the lives of ALL the people. these countries are far from perfect and these measures are under constant threat but they're at least doing something, trying innovation and different ideas rather than just making rich people richer.

"the road to serfdom" was nothing but pre-rand love letter to laissez-faire capitalism and its fascist elite. EVERYTHING is bought and sold and everything has its price and profit potential. even legal justice and human beings are just commodities to be traded, exploited and discarded at will. to say capitalism is the free exchange of ideas is like saying slavery is the free exchange of labor. capitalism monopolizes ideas and claims them as corporate property. it also perpetuates bad ideas and covers up true innovation and progress. the only time capitalism allows innovation is when the elite can claim it as their own and can profit from it. yep, there's nothing free about capitalism.
