  1.  @Ihavepinkeye  … its called "factory farming." to maximize profits these animals are abused, confined to caged areas so constrictive they're unable to turn around or even lay down. or they're shoved together en mass into, usually, indoor pens where they can't move and end up defecating on one another and even suffocate. its perfectly possible to feed people without animal torture. and the only way to do it is to SHUT DOWN these profiteering, price-gouging, animal abusing corporate meat markets and arrest the slime balls who run and profit from them. the family farm is perfectly sufficient in feeding the world. BRING IT BACK!

  2. I KNOW! lets let trump decide! he so wise and generous and honest. I mean, after all, he's unilaterally making all the decisions concerning our country anyway. and no one's stopping him. why don't we just let the GOP, Barr, McConnell, Graham, Thomas, Alito and Kavanaugh declare him Emperor, the exalted lord and master and be done with it? what could go wrong?

  3.  Shahaan Singh  … if by "safe" drinking water you mean bottled water; most bottled water is nothing more than tap water that's been filtered through a variety if different means. you're damned right its good business. these companies are simply reselling filtered tap water at exorbitant prices. very profitable indeed!

  4. if mother nature were a sentient legal entity, it would appear her rights are being protected no better than mine are; or the poor, or single mothers, or the elderly, or the those in need of medical care. if mother nature had any rights then our raping her on an hourly basis would be a capital offense, oil spills would result in the death penalty. oil drilling, fracking, mining for gold and coal, industrial waste, air pollution, nuclear energy, plastics, disposable products and technological obsolescence would all be criminal offenses. the reality is - people nor the planet have any real rights that are seriously or consistently enforced. don't you think its time we change this insanity?
